The camp is a partnership between the Connecticut Rivers Council, BSA and the Eastern Connecticut Fire Training School as a Summer Camp experience for Explorer Posts, Cadets and Junior members of the Fire Department (Age 14-17) based out of the June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation in Ashford, Connecticut. Participants will stay at the Scout Camp and attend workshops and classes at the Fire School in Willimantic. Topics include Leadership Development, Basics of Firefighting, Search & Rescue, Fire Ground Operations, Water Rescue & Wildland Firefighting. Participants will spend most of their time taking part in  hands on team scenarios where they will put their Leadership ability and skills to the test. What makes this program unique is that it takes place in the Summer Camp setting so Water Sports, Climbing, Skeet Shooting are part of the FUN. The program is administered by experienced Fire Department Officers and Instructors from the Eastern Connecticut Fire Training School. If you are interested in learning more please contact one of our Camp Coordinators. You can register by using the red button above or contacting Pat Boyd
